Hello, World...

My name is Matt. If you found your way here, you probably already know that.

I told everyone that I would start a website, and when the opportunity arose to grab one and go for cheap, I went for it. Why not, ya know?

Anyhow, if you found your way here randomly (I'm sorry), then let me tell you a little about myself briefly.

- My name is Matt.
- I am in my 40s.
- I am a father.
- I have been on Twitch for 15 years and 2 months (as of today.)
- I play a LOT of video games.
- I watch a LOT of movies.
- I listen to a LOT of music.
- My favorite colors are purple, green and orange - in that order. Yes, I am one of those people that think black doesn't count.

I don't really have any "content goals." As a matter of fact, I hate the word content altogether when it comes to an online presence and what you produce. Even though it makes sense, I feel like the word 'content' cheapens damn near anything it's attached to when it comes to anything creative. It really annoys me.
This site eventually will (hopefully) provide me a space where I can share what I am currently learning, and also as a sort of live portfolio for whatever it may be that I'm working on currently. I suppose if there were a "goal" it would be to make this my own site that doesn't rely on something like Twitch to stay alive. I'm currently fumbling my way (SLOWLY) through video editing. Right now though, it's basically a place for me to drop all of whatever thoughts and interests I have at the time may be. Once I get comfortable with how the site works and whatnot, It will hopefully gain more structure...but for now, it's going to be a mess.

So who is this for? Well, I guess it's for me - I'm not using this as a professional site by any means, just a spot to hang out where I have control of whatever it is I put out there. If you wanna hang out though, I'm happy to have you.
